A lot of people are aware that the Lytic Cycle and Lysogenic Cycle are known to be two different types of cycles that people may use. When people use the Lytic Cycle, this means that the DNA of the virus will not completely enter the DNA of the host. For the Lysogenic Cycle, the DNA of the virus will completely enter the DNA of the host.
Another difference between the two is that for the Lytic Cycle, there will be an absence of the prophase stage whereas this will be available in the Lysogenic Cycle. The time that it will take for the cycles to work is also different from each other. The Lytic cycle will usually take only a short period of time while the Lysogenic Cycle will usually take longer.
