Peanut butter is produced from peanuts, while the raw material for cashew butter is cashews. Cashew butter can actually be made from raw or roasted cashews, while peanut butter, on the other hand, is always made from dry and roasted ground peanuts. The texture of cashew butter is rich, very creamy, and also buttery.

Peanut butter is available in both the smooth and the crunchy varieties. While storing Cashew butter, the oils and solids inside of the cashew butter usually separate, but while storing peanut butter, the oil and the solid tends to remain in the same state as when the peanut butter was prepared and bottled.

Hydrogenated vegetable oils are used in preparing peanut butter, but cashew butter is prepared by the use of a variety of oils. Peanut butter has high levels of monounsaturated fats, on the contrary, cashew butter has high levels of unsaturated fat content.

It’s always common for people to use peanut butter, especially since there are different varieties of this that are available in the grocery. People may not be too familiar with cashew butter. Obviously, peanut butter is made out of peanuts, and cashew butter is made out of cashews. The cashews are not dry roasted as compared to how the usual peanut butter is created.

Rather, the caustic oil that is usually found in cashews will be removed before the usual process for making the butter will be made. There are different blends that are available depending on how salty or sweet people would like the peanut butter to be.
