Glass is more transparent than a diamond. You can see clearly through a glass, while with a diamond, you cannot see clearly. If a genuine diamond is seen through a jeweler’s loupe, you can see its imperfections. On the other hand, Glass is flawless. Glass is non-crystalline, and a diamond is crystalline.
While the atomic arrangement of Glass is disordered, the structure of a diamond is very much in order, as the value of a diamond is determined by these variables: cut, carat, color, and clarity. As far as Glass is concerned, time and quality go hand in hand. Some glass does have a certain amount of value. Diamond is known to cut Glass. However, Glass cannot cut a diamond. Another difference is that Glass has no color, but diamonds boast a blueish glow.
