Pawpaw and papaya have been used interchangeably; the main cause of the confusion is because of the close resemblance between the fruit. However, pawpaw and papaya are two different fruit that is consumed by people.

A pawpaw is a large yellow fruit that has a lot of nutritional benefits for the young and the old ones, such as the breakdown of gluten and relives of indigestion. Pawpaw can be grown in temperate and hilly terrain; the size of the tree can be said to be a small tree or a scrub because it grows wider and not taller, and also the average size of the pawpaw tree is seven feet.

A pawpaw fruit tastes like a banana.
Papaya is an oval-shaped fruit that is orange to reddish. It is adaptable to tropical climate conditions. The size of papaya is said to be characterized as medium-sized. Papaya has a tropical flavor of sweet-tasting fruits. The height of a papaya tree is thirty-three feet.

One of the significant differences between Pawpaw and papaya is the size of the native plants from which the fruit comes. While Papaya trees are actual trees that can grow to a height of 33 feet (10 meters), pawpaw is considered shrubs of small trees. They can typically only reach a height of about 7 ft. A Pawpaw shares similarities with the banana, starting with the fact that the banana and the pawpaw are both yellow.

They both taste like banana. Pawpaw’s possess particular nutrients that someone might be lacking, which makes it a prime candidate for being a staple in a healthy diet. Papaya is an oval-shaped fruit that has an orangey-red color. This fruit is also very nutritious and has a sweet taste. Papaya was designed to thrive in tropical climates.
