Klonopin and Xanax are known to have the same effect. There are some people who may choose one over the other. At the same time, there are also some people who are known to use them both. They are used at the same time whenever the effects of the other drug used would need to be improved.

When it comes to effects, Klonopin is known to work longer as compared to Xanax. What makes people choose Xanax over Klonopin is the fact that it will take effect faster as compared to Klonopin. When people want to experience immediate results, they would definitely choose Xanax.

Clonazepam and Xanax are two types of medications that are used in the treatment of illnesses like seizures and anxiety. Because of their chemical composition, both drugs are usually classified under benzodiazepine. Aside from this little similarity, there are other little differences between the two.

Clonazepam is a generic name for different drugs with different trade names that are sold under it. In contrast, Xanax is not a generic name but a brand name of an anti-anxiety drug known as alprazolam. Clonazepam is used in the treatment of convulsions, epilepsy, seizures, anxiety. On the other hand, Xanax is used mostly for anxiety disorder.

It is important to know that a user of these two drugs might start having certain side effects, especially if they are taken on a long-term basis. However, clonazepam tends to have more side effects compared to Xanax. As a result of this, people are usually advised not to be taking clonazepam for a very long period of time.
