When discussing God and Jesus Christ, we will most likely make a reference to the Trinity; that is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Spirit. However, from this point of view, the Christians, which are those that believe and are followers of Jesus, present God and Jesus Christ as one. This refers to Jesus Christ also as God.
Nevertheless, there exist some differences between them. Jesus is referred to as the Son of God, according to the scriptures. This Son of God does not chronologically mean someone that God gives birth to, but which typically means God in the flesh. This demonstrates to us that Jesus is God that appeared on earth in the form of a human.
The Bible defines God as "love" in first John, and Jesus as the only son of God, according to the book of John 3 verse 16. This latter verse buttresses the truth that God, out of His unconditional love, gave His Son Jesus to die for the sin of mankind.
