Foremost, your intelligence describes the capacity of your mind, especially to understand facts, truths, principles, meanings; the ability to acquire knowledge and also apply it to practice; the capability to learn and comprehend what has been learned. Intelligence refers to one's intellect, the brightness of your mind.

This is one abstract factor that is very responsible for the ability of your remembrance, and that can highly influence the extent of your brilliancy, either in school or any other learning institute. Wisdom, on the other hand, is a bit more advanced than intelligence in relatively all ramifications.

It is more of an element of your character that usually enables you to distinguish the wise from the unwise. It helps you in making a sound judgment, and also help in your dealings with people. Wisdom, as well as intelligence, can only be applied after knowledge has been acquired. Wisdom, thereby, can be described as the correct application of knowledge.

Intelligence and wisdom are two words that are often interchanged with one another, but they are different and have different meanings. When it comes to intelligence, the type of intelligence that a person has can vary from person to person.

For example, a person that works for the government will have more intelligence on issues regarding that matter than a person who does not work in that field. Wisdom is something that is innate.

For some people, they are naturally wise about things, while others may need to gain that wisdom over time. A person of any age can have both intelligence and wisdom, because it is based off experience.

Intelligence and wisdom are sometimes mistaken by other people as the same, but actually, they are not the same. When you say intelligence, this is the ability to use the knowledge that you have learned from different people or experiences wisely. Intelligence is different from one person to another.

There are some who are so intelligent that they are able to store the knowledge that they need immediately. Wisdom is known to be something that may be innate. Some people are born with it while there are others who would need to gain it over time.

One of the biggest misconceptions of people is assuming that wisdom will only come with age. Remember that to acquire wisdom; you may learn more through experience as well.

The intelligence capacity of an organization will reflect so much on the growth and how successful the organization will become in its operations. Intelligence and counterintelligence are terms commonly used in the military but not limited to the military. Intelligence is needed to act as a foundation upon which a course of action will be based.

In technical situations, the military needs to be open to classified information in order to stay ahead of their enemies. That is why for every military operation, they act mostly according to the level of information that their intelligence unit has gathered. On the other hand, counterintelligence means all the activities being done by an intelligence organization to neutralize or thwart of all the efforts of another intelligence organization from gathering information or secret that might work against them.

At times, to get this done, members of this unit might be sent out to act as spies so they can know the plans of their enemies. The counterintelligence unit encounters more problems compared to the intelligence unit.
