Valuable and invaluable can be used as the opposite of each other; they also have different meanings. They are adjectives that can be used for people, items, traits, actions, relationships, and so on. Valuable is used for items that are expensive or items that cost a fortune, while invaluable is used for items that are too valuable and will be hard to add value to it.

An example of using valuable and invaluable as the opposite is. That employee adds value to the company that means he makes a positive contribution, and an Invaluable employee is one that adds no value to the company, which makes the company suffer losses.

An example of using invaluable to measure how valuable someone or something. My relationship with my family is too invaluable

There are some people who think that invaluable and valuable are complete opposites but actually, they just have two different meanings. When you say valuable, this means that the item is going to be something that is expensive or something that will cost quite a lot of money. When you say invaluable, this means that this is one item that is already too valuable that it will be hard to assign any value to it.

For example, you might say that there is this one person in your life that you would never replace for another because the person is too invaluable. This means that the person is too precious to be replaced by another person.
