Aerobic exercise is the type of exercise that would require oxygen so that it can work. This means that it can stimulate and increase the heart rate so that it will get higher. When the heart pumps faster, there is a tendency for the body to start burning fat and the calories that have been consumed throughout the day.
Take note that aerobic exercises can be sustained for a certain period of time. For anaerobic exercise, this means that there is no oxygen involved when you are doing the exercises. This means that you are going to do an exercise that will make you get out of breath. Sprinting is an example of this. Another example is lifting weights.
