Ethanol is known to be the type of alcohol that you can find in its simplest form. Take note that alcohol can come from different sources. It can come from corn, wheat, or even sugarcane. The main difference between ethanol with biodiesel is from where the alcohol came from. Biodiesel comes from natural oil, which means that it may have stemmed from animal fat or soybean oil.

A lot of people may like to use biodiesel more because it has the ability to provide more energy as compared to what ethanol may most likely produce. Biodiesel will also have the ability to reduce greenhouse emissions by almost 50%.
