What is the difference between Creationism and Intelligent design?

Creationism is believed to be the story and teachings of the bible. Creationism and intelligent design are different terms as they only try to explain the same thing in different ways. Creationism believes the universe and all things in it were created by a supreme being which is God.

Intelligent design does not believe in theological assumptions but relies on methods within the scientific community. Intelligent design does not believe anyone is the founder of the universe. Creationism believes there are the young-earth creationists and old-earth creationists.

The young-earth creationism bases their findings on the bible, where it was written that God created the earth in six days. Intelligent design theorist believes organism show clear scientific evidence of design.

They also argue that life on earth started with plant and animal species, which came into existence because of a scientifically produced intelligent cause. People who believe strictly in science say that it is not feasible for a divine presence to create the earth.
