The branch of philosophy that involves questions about morality and also the perception of good and evil is called the ethics philosophy. There are other branches of philosophy and these branches have various schools of thought such as deontology, teleology, stoicism, hedonism, etc.
Deontology can be defined as duty-based ethics. Deontology focus on the individual duty or obligation toward each other. The teaching of deontology is based on how to act in good faith and also how to adhere to the golden rule. Examples of deontology are the ten commandments.
Teleology is referred to as result-oriented ethics. It involves studying past experiences to figure out the results of the present action. Deontology is built on the basics of man's absolute duty towards mankind. Teleology deals with the consequences of the action.

When you say deontology, they believe in the saying that what goes around will always come around. This is similar to how people also define karma. This means that anything that brings pain or happiness will go with the other.
For teleology, they believe that the things that people do, the actions that people do will be based on morality. They believe that morality will be the basis of people when doing things that will allow people to know their character. Another difference between the two is that deontology is focused on the means of how people would do things while teleology will be focused on the results.
