Hindi and Bengali are two common languages out of many other Indo-European languages that exist. Aside from the fact that both are spoken in different parts of the word, both are official languages in India. However, there are some differences between the two. Although Hindi is one of the official languages in India, Indians in other parts of the world use it as their second language.
Hindi can easily be combined with other languages in India, especially Urdu. On the other hand, Bengali is the official language in India as well as in Bangladesh (the only official language in the country), unlike Hindi that is spoken only by Hindus in India, although Indians use it as their second language in other countries.
The population of people who speak Hindi is higher compared to that of Bengali. However, Bengali has more native speakers than Hindi. While Hindi is used mostly to describe a particular language, Bengali can be used to describe the culture, language, and people.
