There is a big difference between a journal and an article. The article can be defined as a piece of nonfictional writing or composition which can be published via an electronic medium or in print. There are so many types of articles; they include; a report, story, entry in a magazine, textbook, newspaper.
A typical article is composed of so many important sections. First, an article must have a headline that simply explains a piece of information of what a reader is about to read. There is a section where the title and the name of the writer will be included; it is called the byline. The lead is another important section of an article where the writer tries to catch your attention.
Also, we have the main body and the conclusion part. On the other hand, a journal is a piece of composition that contains a daily record of events or business which is usually in the form of diaries or accounting journal.
