An Android is known to be an item that is supposed to resemble a human. If it does not look like a human in its overall appearance, it is meant to act like a human. It has been programmed to have some thoughts that would be similar to how humans are going to think. There are even some that are meant to show some emotions.

A cyborg, on the other hand, will have some mechanical parts that are meant to be used for doing different skills. Cyborgs usually look like robots. They are not meant to resemble or look like human beings. The parts that they have are stronger as compared to some robots because they are meant to do work.
