According to recent research, Islam is the fastest-growing religion in the world. The global Muslim populace is expected to increase from 1.8 to 3 billion from 2015 to 2060. In 2060, Muslims will embody 31.1% of the worldwide community.

Another reason for the growth of Islam is the high fertility rates in Muslim women of childbearing age who are ready to start a family. Muslims generate more children than any other religious group that has a significant influence on the world.

Muslim women have a fertility percentage of 2.9, while the average number for all non-Muslim women is 2.2. Muslims also tend to have more prominent families with more children than Christians.

The correct answer to this question is Yes. While Christianity still reigns supreme in many religions, as the years go on, experts expect Islam to become the top religion. This could happen as soon as 2050, if not sooner. One reason for this is that there are sectors of Christianity that are losing members at a quick rate.

Some of these groups include Catholics and Protestants. The reason for this is because of the scandals they have dealt with throughout the years. While Christianity is losing, Muslims is gaining because they have a high offspring rate, allowing them to pass their religion on to many future generations.

Most times, when a question like this is asked, people's reactions are usually based on projections. Although Islam is one of the most popular religions in the world, in fact, it is the second most popular religion. There are reports that religion will grow more in terms of population, which would be about 30.5 percent of the world's total population by 2065.

If this projection is realized as predicted, it means the long reign of Christianity as the largest religious group will become a thing of the past. The reason for this is the fact that Islam is a religion that encourages men to marry more than one wife, and the highest they are allowed to marry depends on their capacity to take adequate care of them all.

This is already yielding results in this direction as Muslims are now having more children than the followers of other religions like Christianity. However, I still don't believe in this projection as they are other reports that say Christianity will continue to maintain the lead.
