Body Lift and Suspension Lift are two types of techniques used to lift or raise certain parts of a vehicle. There are some major differences between the two. If you want to remove the cab or body of a car, a body lift is mostly used. Suspension lift, on the other hand, is used to raise the system of springs and shock absorbers attached to the wheels in a vehicle.
Before you can use body lift, you will need to add aluminum blocks or polyurethane directly between the cab of a vehicle and the body's mounts. Before suspension lift can be done, you will need to replace the system with a new one. However, the new suspension must have a little bit longer coil springs compared to the former.
A body lift does not cost too much; it is not as expensive as a suspension lift. The wheel geometry is not affected whenever a body lift is done to a car, while there is a little change when a suspension lift is done.
