Some people would need to know the different parts of the female genitals for different reasons. There are some who would like to learn more about it because they need it for school while others would like to know more about it for their personal reasons. The vulva is the term used to describe the outer portion of the female genitals.

The labia may refer to the two types of labia, the labia minor and the labia majora. The Labia majora refers to the other lip while the labia minora are the inner lips. They surround the clitoris. There are two sets of skin folds that will protect the clitoris.
