One of the main differences between snooker and pool is the number of balls that are available. When you play snooker, you can expect that there are 22 balls that will be used. This already includes the white ball that is also called the striker ball. Pool, on the other hand, will only require nine balls.

It also has a white ball like a game of snooker. Another difference is that the balls in Pool will all be numbered, and they are also striped. You can actually learn more about what game is being played simply by looking at the balls that are being used. Both games are liked by a lot of people.
