Perfume and body spray can easily be confused to be the same since both are known for their pleasant odors. However, perfume and body spray are two products serving different purposes. In terms of their compositions, perfumes are produced by combining different kinds of oils and aromatic extracts.
The pleasant odors to be produced depend greatly on the nature of the aromatic extracts and oils being used. Although a body spray also contains certain extracts, alcohol, and water are also parts of its constituents. The implication of this is that body sprays contain less aromatic extracts compared to perfumes.
Bodysprays are used exactly like deodorants and can be applied directly on the skin, while perfumes are applied mostly on the cloth. Out of the two, the odor of the perfumes stays longer than that of body sprays. In terms of price, perfumes are comparably more expensive than body sprays.
