From the name itself, you can already guess that PS1 is known to be the oldest version or the original version of this game console. When this came out, a lot of people became excited because they would like to play different games on it. The PS3 is already the improved version of this original gaming console. For example, the PS1 comes with just 2MB of RAM, but the PS3 will already come with 256MB of RAM. Another thing that you will notice is that they make use of different controllers. The PS1 will have a specific controller that you cannot use for the PS3 and vice versa. The PS3 also comes with a wireless controller, which can make gaming so much easier.

Playstation 1 and 3 are different in the sense that Playstation 3 is known to be more powerful because it is newer as compared to Playstation 1. When it comes to RAM, Playstation 1 will only come with 2MB of RAM while PS3 will come with 256 MB of RAM. When it comes to the controller, the PS1 will have a dual shock controller 1 while the PS3 will have a dual shock controller 3. PS3 is also different in the sense that the controller that will be used is wireless. Of course, the wireless controller was not available for the PS1 yet. When it comes to the price, the PS1 is definitely going to be cheaper because it is older. It will be hard to find PS1 units that are still working at this point.

PlayStation is a giant name when it comes to gaming consoles in the world. And PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 3 are parts of their products, with the former released in the year 1994, and the latter was released in the year 2005. The PlayStation 3 actually took quite a long preparation process between 2000 and 2005 before it was released.

Meanwhile, PlayStation 2 was released in-between the two PlayStations 1 and 3, and PlayStation still seems like the one that gained the most popular of them all. The PlayStation 1 has an extremely slow speed processor of 33 MHz when compared to the processor speed of PlayStation 3, which is up to 3.2 GHz.

In terms of the random access memory, that of PS 1 is 2MB, while the PS 3 is 256MB of RAM. The PS 3 makes use of DualShock controller 3, while PS 1 used the DualShock controller 1. Another feature that exists in the PS 3, but not in PS 1, is the Wi-Fi support.

PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 3 are both gaming consoles from Sony. One of the obvious differences between the two is that PlayStation 1 is the older of the two. PlayStation 1 was released by Sony in 1994 and took the company eleven years to release PlayStation 3. By calculation, PlayStation 3 was released in 2005.

PlayStation 3, is the newer version of the two, came with so many features that are not present in PlayStation 1. This means PlayStation 3 has more advanced features than PlayStation 1. A perfect example of this can be seen in the nature of the processors used by the two gaming consoles. Unlike PlayStation 1 that uses a 32 bit RISC processor, the PlayStation 3 uses a 3.2 GHz processor.

The processor used by PlayStation 3 makes it to be faster than PlayStation 1. Unlike PlayStation 3 that is equipped with WiFi, the PlayStation 1 does not have WiFi. The PlayStation 3 also has more RAM compared to the PlayStation 1.
