Both archeologists and paleontologists study historical sciences that explain the past, And there are significant differences between them. The archeologists explore human history through genuine artifacts, while paleontologists study fossils, animals, and plants. Archeologists study past human lifestyles and cultures.

Paleontologists study fossils to obtain answers about the past while Archeologists derive knowledge from archeology, anthropology, ancient history, or conservation. Paleontologists procure knowledge from natural sciences, especially in biology and geology. Archeologists investigate history and prehistory through the discovery and examination of artifacts, remains, structures, and writing. They look at ancient sites and objects to learn more about human history, and they record it for future generations to learn and understand. Because of paleontologists study fossils, they need to have a strong educational background in natural sciences.
