White and black truffle oil are two types of truffle oil that are similar in terms of flavor. Aside from this similarity, there are some differences between the two. First, black truffle oil is gotten mainly from black truffle, while white truffle oil is gotten from white truffle through a series of processes. Another difference is that the two types of truffle oil are not mostly found in the same region.

For instance, black truffle is mostly found in France, while white truffle is found mostly in northern Italy. Although both are very similar, especially when you consider the type of flavor they produce, white truffle oil does not have a strong flavor like a black truffle. White truffle has a kind of aroma that smells like that of garlic. Since black truffles usually have a very strong aroma compared to white truffles, they are usually added to the stew, casseroles, sauces, meat, etc.
