One of the chief differences between tacos and burritos is that burritos are much bigger, and therefore more satisfying as a meal. Tacos have been in existence for centuries. Traditional tacos are made with warm corn tortillas wrapped around a single filling and often dripping in salsa, sour cream, and other sauces. Tacos also come with ground beef or chicken, cheese, and vegetables.
The burrito is more recent. It even comes with an interesting story. There was an ambitious food merchant who wanted to sell plates of rice and beans without actually having to use plates. So, thought of wrapping ingredients in a large edible wrapper, which was made from wheat tortillas. Burritos generally contain rice, beans, cheese, and meat. They are also dripping in salsa and sour cream, and guacamole.
