Itraconazole and Terbinafine are two common medications that can be used for the treatment of fungal infections. Both medications are used mostly to treat onychomycosis, a fungal infection of the nail, most especially the toenail.

Although these two drugs work perfectly, drug users are usually advised to use Itraconazole and Terbinafine with caution because of their side effects. Itraconazole capsules work perfectly in an acidic environment, and that is why drug users are usually advised to take them with meals, especially food that will enhance the production of hydrochloric acid.

As a result of this mechanism, foods that can inhibit the production of hydrochloric acid should not be taken. On the other hand, Terbinafine capsules are usually prescribed to be used without any need for the acidic environment. As a result of this, you do not need any meal that will induce or stimulate the production of hydrochloric before they can be taken.
