What is the difference between Nintendo DS Lite and DSi XL?

There are various kinds of portable gaming systems out there, Nintendo DS Lite and DSi XL are just two types from Nintendo. The fact that both are creations from Nintendo does not mean they are the same. The major difference between the two can be noticed when you consider their size. You can't compare the length and width of DSi XL with that of DS Lite; the former is way bigger than the latter in terms of length and width. Also, DSi XL comes with a 4.2-inch screen, while DS Lite comes with a 3-inch screen.

This little difference in their screen size is an additional advantage that DSi XL has over DS Lite since you are not going to be straining your eyes if you are looking from a distance. Another difference is that DSi XL is equipped with additional features that cannot be found in DS Lite. For instance, DSi comes with a camera, whereas DS Lite does not have any.
