Canon GL1 and GL2 are two electronic devices that are used for recording images and audio onto a storage device. While both camcorders are similar in some ways, there are still some differences between the two. In terms of size, Canon GL1 is bigger than the Canon GL. Also, in terms of how sensitive they are to light, Canon GL1 is not as good as GL2 in this respect.
Another difference can be noticed when you consider the resolution of the two devices. Canon GL2 is equipped with a resolution of 200,000 pixels, whereas GL1 is equipped with a resolution of 122,000 pixels. Also, Canon GL2 and GL1 do not have the same weight; the latter weighs more than the former.
While both devices have a feature known as program setting switch, the setting of the program is not difficult in GL2 compared to GL1. The recording length for GL1 is not as long as that of GL2.
