Aluminum and copper radiators are two devices that are used to lower engine coolant temperature by conducting heat to the air. While two devices are used to perform a similar function, there are still some differences between the two. Aluminum and copper radiators do not conduct heat in the same way; the latter conducts heat very faster than the former, and that is why radiators were made with copper alone in the past.

Both aluminum and copper radiators use different tubes that are used in carrying coolant; the tubes in aluminum radiators are wider compared to that of copper radiators. The seeming difference in the nature of the tubes being used in aluminum and copper radiators is to make them work perfectly.

Another difference is that aluminum radiator tubes are always welded to the device so as to produce more heat. On the other hand, copper radiator tubes are always soldered.
