The dielectric constant is known to be the type of ratio of permittivity that it can hold. For those who are not familiar with what permittivity is, this is how the material is able to store an electric field and keep it polarized. Take note that if you would like to measure the dielectric constant, there is a need to know what formula should be used.
The formula for this is Farad per meter (F/m or F.m-1). you also have to know that the electric constant of the vacuum is usually 8.85×10-12 F/m. Permittivity is known to be something that will be in between electric field intensity and electric displacement.
