Upset and angry are considered to be two negative feelings that people may feel. Between the two, angry is considered to be stronger. This means that the emotion that you are feeling is very intense. There is a big chance that you feel really bad that you may hurt other people or yourself. When you say upset, this means that you are also going through something that is negative, but this time, the emotion is not very strong.
It may be a somewhat sad feeling that you may get when something does not go your way or when something that you do not like happens. Becoming angry can take a toll on you and may cause stress.
