The upper-middle-class is centered within the middle of the financial class pyramid. This group of people generally fall between anywhere from the working class up to the top of society's hierarchy. Individuals such as managers, professionals, engineers, lawyers, academics, doctors, civil servants, and white-collar workers are classified as the upper-middle class. Of course, education completion and income are significant factors.
The lower middle class is also referred to as the working class. These are people who can usually be found in industrialized nations as those who earn income through non-academic means. The working class is those who generally have jobs that require physical labor.
