CAT6A is the newest form of Ethernet cabling that you can install for your network. It is the improved version of the CAT6 wiring, as it offers more superior performance. CAT6 cables go up to 1Gbps, while CAT6A cables can achieve up to 10GGbps. It is capable of operating at 500Mhs, which is twice the amount of the operation of the CAT6 cables. CATGA cables are also more robust in terms of protection against crosswalk, which is where the signal from one cable leaks into another. It is for this reason that CAT6A cables can work in a situation where one cable is bundled with a plethora of other cables. CAT6 is almost identical to the other cables that came before it. On the other hand, CAT6A cables cost more than twice the amount of CAT6, which is separate from the comparable equipment you have to purchase along with it.
