There are some differences between education and indoctrination. Education involves the acquiring of facts and learning about many different topics. Indoctrination is intended to influence people to believe in points, but without the definite explanation of those facts, and lack the opportunity to examine whether these so-called facts are based in truth.

You can be indoctrinated into a cult or even a belief system. When we are children, we didn’t know how to gather the necessary information to find out the truth on our own. However, when we grew up, we began searching to understand more about the information we were provided with as we were growing up.

We discovered the appropriate avenues to become educated and form our belief system. Indoctrination says that there is only one solution, and we become oppressed. However, with education comes a wide array of possible solutions.

Indoctrination is the process by which people are being trained to believe in facts. The problem with this is that the facts may not always be true because they might just be based on opinion. Take note that a lot of people are indoctrinated into something while they are growing up. It may be a religion or even something else.
