Keg and Cask ale is known to be two different types of beers. Cask ale is known to be the type of beer that is more traditional. It is unpasteurized and also unfiltered. Keg ale is the opposite of Cask ale in the sense that it is filtered and pasteurized. People normally serve Keg ale from metal kegs.
The way that they are served is also different. Cask ale is usually served cool while Keg ale would need to be served chilled. Their carbonation levels are also different from each other. Cask ale is also known to have less aroma, especially when compared to keg ale. People will have their own preferences and decide which one they want more.
