Japanese hair straightening is also called Yuko. Brazilian hair straightening is also known as Brazilian Keratin treatment. The Japanese have made it possible to make use of different chemicals that will be used in order to straighten hair chemically. With Brazilian hair straightening, this is still very effective in straightening the hair, but this time, Keratin is the main ingredient so that the hair will be straighter.
Japanese hair straightening will change the internal components of the hair while Brazilian will only be focused on fixing the outer area of the hair. You can expect that for Japanese hair straightening, the change will be permanent, but for Brazilian hair straightening, this will only last for about two to four months.
