What is the difference between Shaving Foam and Gel?

There are some people who may use shaving foam or gels when they want to protect their skin while shaving. Those who do not need to shave long beards will probably use the foam probably because this is more lightweight. This is fluffy and will feel great on the skin.
The gel is normally used by people who would need more lubricant to protect their skin. The main goal of this is to make sure that there will be enough barrier to protect the skin while it is being shaved. You are not advised to shave without a gel or a shaving cream because you might cause some parts of your skin to break.
