Some people may become confused with the difference between shame and ashamed, but actually, these two are different. Shame is known to be a noun. This is something that you may feel when someone says something about you, or it may also be something that you can do to other people who have caused you harm.
Ashamed is known to be an adjective. This is something that you may feel when you have done something that is out of character. There may or may not be people who are watching you. This can be an emotion or an effect of something that has occurred. You must know the difference so that you will know how to use these words.
