Blackberry Playbook and Samsung Galaxy S Tablet are different and useful gadgets. One important difference is in size; the playbook size is about 7 inches while the Tablet is about 7- 10 inches. The blackberry playbook has the blackberry operating system while the tablet has the popular Android operating system.

The Samsung Tablet has been evolving, making it more versatile and updates while the playbook is slow in growth. The Playbook has no cellular connectivity, while the galaxy tablet has cellular connectivity. It has the latest android version 2.2; the tablet also makes a phone call. The tablet weighs about 380g while the playbook weighs about 450g.

The playbook was announced in 2010 in September and released in April 2011. The playbook has no memory card slot while the tablet has a slot for micro SDXC.

One of the easiest ways to differentiate between the BlackBerry Playbook and Samsung Galaxy S Tablet is by comparing their size. Here, you might probably consider going for the Samsung Galaxy S tablet because it comes in different size models. For instance, the Samsung Galaxy S tablet comes in different versions, such as a 7-inch, 7.7-inch, and 10.1-inch versions.

In contrast, BlackBerry Playbook comes only in the 7-inch version. Since Samsung Galaxy S tablet comes in different size models, you have the option of picking whichever size you want. Another obvious difference between Samsung Galaxy S tablet and BlackBerry Playbook is that the former uses the Android Operating system while the latter uses Blackberry Tablet OS.

In terms of cellular connectivity, the Samsung Galaxy S tablet takes the lead as it is equipped with a cellular modem that allows it to connect to the internet, whereas BlackBerry Playbook does not come with a cellular modem though it is equipped with WiFi.

Blackberry Playbook and Samsung Galaxy S are two types of mobile devices. Between the two, the Blackberry Playbook has been around longer. It was released in 2011. While it is does not have a cellular modem, the Playbook is great for many things, such as taking photos and conducting video conferencing.

because it does not have cellular modem, the user is not able to use the playbook everywhere, because you would need to be connected to Wi-Fi. The Samsung Galaxy S tablet was released three years later in 2014. It is smaller in size and uses the Android operating system

The Blackberry Playbook was released to the consumer market in 2011, and it works well for taking photographs, as well as video conferencing. The camera application permits switching between picture mode and video mode. In terms of hardware, the contrast in the sizes of the two is the critical difference is the availability of cellular connectivity. There is a lack of cellular modem in the Blackberry Playbook.

This absence means that you are constrained to certain areas if you want to participate in online activities. The Samsung Galaxy S Tablet was released in 2014. It is one of the thinnest and lightest tablets available. The design is impressively compelling, as it has a vivid, razor-sharp screen. The Samsung Galaxy S uses Google's Android, while the Playbook uses Blackberry's own operating system.
