Cigarettes are made from Tobacco. Cigarettes are tobacco wrapped in a roll paper. Tobacco is a plant grown for its leaves. When they dry, they are fermented for use for tobacco products. Tobacco contains an addictive ingredient called nicotine; this is why many tobacco lovers find it difficult to quit even though they know it’s harmful to their health.
People use tobacco in different ways, it is used as a smoke, some people chew it, and some sniff it. Tobacco smoke contains different chemicals that are very harmful to smokers and non- smokers.
There are over 7,000 chemicals in tobacco smoke at least 250 are known to be harmful, and they include hydrogen cyanide, carbon monoxide, and ammonia; out of the 250 that are harmful, 65 is known to be able to cause cancer.
