When you say chartered accountant, this means that the person has already gone through all of the necessary licenses to make sure that the person has already obtained all of the right qualifications to act like an actual accountant. The qualifications that this person has obtained are available worldwide, so if you would like to have an accountant that you can trust, you can look for a chartered one.

A non-chartered accountant is someone who is considered to be an accounting professional who will be able to provide the needed services anywhere in the United States but not worldwide. Take note that accountants usually go through years of school to get the title that they earn.
