When it comes to the time difference, there is no difference between England and the United Kingdom. Take note that the United Kingdom is composed of four countries which are England, Wales, Northern Island, and Scotland. England is just one country. This means that in terms of landmass, they are different. The UK is obviously bigger because there are four countries that are part of it.

Take note that they also make use of different flags. The flag of England is known to be Saint George’s Cross, while the flag of England is called The Union Flag. The way that they have gotten their names are also different from each other. With these details, it will be easy to not get confused with their differences again.

The first difference between England and Great Britain, in terms of size or landmass, is that Great Britain is bigger than England. Though many take the two to be the same and even mistaking them for the United Kingdom; meanwhile, they are different! The United Kingdom consists of England, Northern Ireland, Wales, and Scotland. England only happens to be one of the countries under Great Britain and the largest one in particular.

England's flag is referred to as the St. George's Cross, while the official flag of Great Britain is sometimes referred to as Union Jack, but majorly called the Union Flag. England as a name was given to them by the German tribe, while Great Britain got their name from the Romans in the year 1603. The people from England are usually referred to as the English, while the people from Britain are referred to as the British.
