The Articles of Confederation was formed to help the United States handle some diplomatic matters and to put the country in an advantaged position over its foes. The Articles of Confederation empowered the original colonial powers to have upper hands in handling certain matters. However, it was later discovered that the Articles of Confederation had some shortcomings that could impede the growth of the United States. For instance, there was no provision for a central authority to govern the country. This means in the Articles of Confederation, there was no judicial power, no executive power, and there was no system of taxation. However, the idea of a legal document (constitution) became a necessity to address all the shortcomings of the Articles of Confederation. The constitution established the bicameral legislative system in the United States, while the unicameral legislative system was established by the Articles of Confederation. However, the constitution is not also perfect, and that's why it can be reviewed and amended at any time.

The Articles of Confederation is a type of document that provides details about the setup of the first government of the United States. This is a type of government wherein the government is considered to be weak. People are not required to pay taxes so the government will not be able to get enough money to do the things that they have planned for the people. There are a lot of laws that were not implemented and were probably not given enough attention. The Constitution allowed many changes to occur. First of all, the trade started to become possible. Plus, there are different rules and regulations that started to become regulated to allow people to have more discipline. For the Constitution, there were more people that were also allowed to vote.
