The terms enjoyment and pleasure might have some similarities, but there are still some differences between them. When you check the dictionary, the word 'enjoyment' means the condition of enjoying anything. However, it also means the pleasure that you derive from something. Most times, when we engage in different kinds of activities, we are always quick to refer to the pleasure we get from it as enjoyment. On the other hand, the word 'pleasure' means a state of being pleased. It also means something that causes enjoyment. You can also use the word pleasure as an idiom to mean "as you want." For instance, "it is my pleasure to introduce my friends to you all." Another difference is that pleasurable activities can only give immediate benefits. In other words, we only invest in pleasurable activities because of its immediate rewards. On the contrary, enjoyable activities will give both immediate and future benefits.
