Titanium is the element with the atomic number 22 and the symbol Ti. Ti is a metal with a shining silvery color. It is strong, but it has a low density. It is also corrosion-resistant and durable. Properties of titanium make that useful in different applications. The strength allows it to be used in aircraft, rocket, missiles; Ti is non-toxic and biocompatible, making it ideal for biomaterial applications.

Tungsten is a metal element with atomic number 74. It belongs to group 6 and period 6 in the periodic table. Tungsten is popular for its usage as bulb filaments, and it has very high melting and boiling point. Tungsten is much heavier compare to Ti, and it also contains more electrons than titanium. Tungsten also has more electrons than titanium.

Tungsten is gotten from a Swedish word, which means heavy stone, and it is represented by W. Tungsten is an element that can be found on the periodic table with an atomic number 74, and has a standard atomic weight of 183.84. It is a silvery-white metal that shines a lot. Of all the elements, tungsten has the highest melting point, and it is of an ultra-high density, hard and stable. Besides, it has the lowest coefficient of thermal expansion, vapor pressure, and highest tensile strength. Titanium is gotten from the word “Titans” which is related to Greek mythology. Titanium is an element that occurs throughout the earth’s lithosphere and can be found in both igneous and sedimentary rock. The symbol for the Titanium element is Ti. It is a hard and shiny metal with a silvery-white kind of color. Its atomic number and standard atomic weight are 22 and 47.867, respectively. Of all metals, Titanium possesses the highest strength-to-density ratio.

Titanium and Tungsten are known to be hard elements. They are harder as compared to other precious metals such as gold and silver. Tungsten is relatively harder as compared to titanium. When it comes to scratch resistance, Tungsten will also be more scratch resistant as compared to titanium, which is why some people would choose this over titanium easily. These are the metals that are often considered as alternatives if you would like to have something low cost that will not get scratched or break easily. One thing that you should remember though, is that Tungsten can build up carbon easily, which means that it will oxidize and tarnish faster than titanium.
