Sealed and Ported Box are two types of speakers that are used to produce quality sound. Whenever people are talking about sound production, quality speakers are usually regarded to be parts of the things to be considered. There are a few differences between a sealed box and a ported box. A sealed box is designed in such a way that air cannot easily come out from what it is used to encase it. On the inside, there is variation in the pressure being produced as air comes in and out of its case.
This is what is responsible for its high-quality sound. On the other hand, the portal box also refers to a particular way of encasing the speaker in such a way that there is a small hole in front of the speaker so that it will be serving as an equalizer that will be regulating the pressure inside the encasement and the one outside. The portal box does not produce a quality sound like a sealed box.
