How longer can we preserve important intakes such as food and water, keeping in mind the destruction of nature that has been increasing over the period of time?
The destruction of nature, mostly by human activities, has really threatened the existence of some animals, crops, and even water. According to a report, about 700 vertebrates are no longer in existence. Also, the issue of climatic change is still a problem, and it is taking a serious toll on the level of food production around the world. Also, the destruction of nature by human beings is also threatening the continuous existence of animals that live in freshwater and its resources.
The above is just to tell us the level of destruction that we have done to the nature and the level of impact this is going to have on the availability of all important intakes. I don't think we should be talking about how long we can preserve these intakes, but rather how we can be adopting various measures that will reduce or put a stop to the continuous destruction of nature.
