Are K-pop and BTS the same?

K-pop and BTS are not the same. They are different in many ways. K-pop only refers to a kind of music in Korea country. That implies that the "K" in K-pop stands for Korea, South Korea precisely. K-pop has to do with the entire nation, and several bodies or groups can be recognized with K-pop. On the other hand, BTS, which has quite several meanings, is a group of 7 boys sponsored by the Big Hit Entertainment that make the K-pop music. BTS stands for Bulletproof Boy scouts in the Korean language and locally means BangTan SoNyeonDan.

After the guys have come out to the stage, another English meaning was given to the BTS acronym, which is ‘Beyond The Scene.’ BTS just has to do with 7 Korean that makes the Korean pop music. The BTS can stop functioning anytime, but K-pop still remains after them. BTS just happens to be the most successful K-pop group in history.
