The country with the highest rate of mental illness is the United States of America. According to a recent statistic released by the WHO, it has been revealed that the mental illness rate in the United States is about 27 percent. According to this report, people who suffer from all kinds of mental illnesses are not being treated in the right way. In fact, a lot of other people are not ready to disclose or open up when asked about some things in order to avoid a kind of stigmatization that comes out of it.

The most common mental illness in the United States is anxiety disorders. About 40 million are currently battling with it, starting from the age of 18. Based on this statistic, this is just about 18 percent of the total population. About 2.8 percent of the US population experiences panic disorder. Also, about 3.1 percent of the US population experiences generalized anxiety disorders.

The correct answer to this question is The United States of America. It is estimated that about 20% of Americans, which equals to 45 million of the population, have experienced mental disorders. Despite that high number, it is estimated that 50% of adults have not been treated for their illnesses.

The statics of mental illness goes deeper than that. It is estimated that over 10 million adults deal with that thought of committing suicide. Mental illness is also deeply affecting our younger generations, as over 2 million young adults deal with depression. These statistics are alarming and higher than ever before.
