The truth is that both are important, and they are both connected in such a way that one has the ability to affect or influence the functionality of the second. Mental health is as important as physical health. In fact, our mental health is playing a tremendous role in shaping and forming our abilities towards achieving perfect physical health. The fact that both are connected means they have their ways of affecting each other.

As much as mental health can affect our physical health, physical health can also do the same to mental health. Mental illness such as dementia, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, will always generate problems that will give rise to poor physical health. Also, any form of problem in our physical health will equally affect and impair the regular functions and the well being of our mental health. For instance, having a long term depression can increase our risk of getting coronary heart disease.

The correct answer to this question is Yes. The mental wellbeing of a person is just as important as the physical. Just as much attention should be paid to a person's mental wellbeing, as attention is paid to their physical. Unfortunately, everyone does not pay attention to their mental health.

Instead, they focus on their physical health, including their appearance and how healthy they are. Mental health includes many wellbeings of a person, including emotional, behavioral, and cognitive. If all of these areas are not balanced, a person's life can be affected. Down the line, it can also impact the physical health of a person.

Yes, a person’s mental wellbeing is as important as physical wellbeing. It is very important that you pay attention to your mental health. However, this is not the case for most people. We disregard our mental health and focus only on our physical health. Mental health includes your emotional, cognitive, psychological and behavioral wellbeing. A person cannot be balanced if these areas of life are affected. It is also important to know that your mental health can affect your physical health.

A poor mental condition has an unhealthy influence on a person’s immune system and this can predispose a person to many diseases and increase the risk of infection. Mental health not only affects a person, but it also affects their family, their relationship, work and every area of other areas of their life. If left untreated, it can get worse and ultimately lead to death. Good mental health and physical health are important to living a balanced and quality life. It’s time we begin to teach mental health awareness to the society.
