Yeah, hiking is a good exercise, especially when you consider the numerous health benefits you are most likely to get from it. Aside from the fact that you will have great times enjoying the fresh air and listening to the sounds of nature, there are other benefits of hiking that can be gotten. Those benefits are mostly gotten when you engage in any cardio workout. When you hike, it reduces your risks of getting heart disease.

This exercise can also improve your blood pressure. It also has a way of improving the blood sugar level; as a result, it will reduce your risk of getting diabetes. If you want to control your weight, and you equally want to increase your bone density, hiking is very exercised to achieve such. When you hike, it makes you feel less depressed. This makes you stay in a good mood always. Hiking can also improve your balance.

Yes, hiking is a great way to exercise.

Hiking is all about walking along a path and viewing amazing sites. Hiking is a form of full-body exercise. Regular hiking boosts the density of your bone; it helps build muscles of the quadriceps, hamstrings, gluteus, and the muscles of the hip. Hiking also counts as cardio. Although it does not rev up your heart rate as running does, hiking is an excellent way to improve your heart rate.

It also helps elevate your level of high-density lipoprotein, which is good for the heart and helps lower the risk of heart diseases. It also improves your blood pressure and blood sugar levels. Hiking helps elevate your mood. It can also help calm your nerves and relieve stress.
